Joshua’s First Month!
Its hard to believe, but Joshua has been with us for a month already. We absolutely love having him in the family! Aiden is doing so well with him (after a bit of a rocky start)! He loves to give his little brother kisses and he even helps put the pacifier in Joshua’s mouth when he cries. Click on any pictures to see the whole album!

The Downstairs is Finished!
A few weeks ago, I finally finished our two downstairs rooms! We don’t have wall decorations up, but we’ve really been enjoying the space! I still need to put a final coat of white on the built in shelving but I’ll get there =).

Joshua Michael Mercurio!
Wow, its been a whirlwind the past few days but we’re so excited that baby Joshua is finally here! Joshua was born Tuesday, November 29th at 1:49pm and weighed 8lbs.3ozs! He’s a big boy! He unfortunately had the cord wrapped loosely around his neck twice and came out the color of a blueberry but the nurses were able to give him oxygen and get his lungs cleared out really quick. He’s breathing like a champ and his color is great! He’s doing great! Faith has been doing well too! The delivery was a bit more difficult than with Aiden but it was much shorter and Faith was way more rested! She’s certainly tired (especially since Joshua didn’t sleep last night), but she’s commented already on how good she feels physically! Doesn’t she look beautiful in the picture above! Right after giving birth she’s still hot!
Aiden is doing well too! The first day was a little difficult since Mommy and Daddy were away, but last night when we got home, Aiden did much better! He already loves giving his little brother lots of kisses! I’m posting a bunch of pictures today but hopefully I’ll be able to get some of the video clips up soon too! Thank you all for your prayers and encouragements! God certainly blessed beyond what we deserve!

Aiden and his nighttime book!
I read Aiden one of his books the other night and accidentally misread a line. I was quickly surprised to hear Aiden correct me!? It turns out, over the past weeks, he memorized his tow truck book from cover to cover! As I went through the book, he read every line almost word for word. I tried so hard to hold in my laughing =). Its scary thinking about how much he takes in without us knowing!? Anyway, I knew I had to get it on video so here it is =)…

Home Improvements
Being homeowners has been such a blessing and lots of fun! In the past few months since we’ve moved in, Faith and I have been busy working on lots of different projects. We put up our rock wall, did lots of painting, and made updates to our closets. We also added an addition to our deck as well as added new mulch beds around the house. The biggest by far though has been our work on the downstairs spaces that were only roughed in when we bought the house. Its not finished yet, but I figured it was worth a post to show you all how things are coming along!

We’ve got all of the drywalling and finishing to do but the room is almost there! Its exciting to see everything taking shape. It will be wonderful to have this new space for Aiden to play in!
