Week 25…

Well, we’re into week 25 of the pregnancy and I’ve got some cool news to report!  A few weeks back Faith went into the doctors.  The OB made it pretty clear that he wanted Faith to stop taking the anti-nausea medicine that she had pretty much been living off of for the past 3 months!  She tried that week to go off of it but immediately she started feeling exactly how she did 3 months ago…throwing up all over the place!?  It was pretty discouraging.  The next Sunday I decided we needed to have the elders of the church pray for her.  It’s so stupid how long we wait sometimes to simply obey what God has already told us in His word.  James 5 says that if you’re sick you should go and have the elders of the church pray and anoint you.  I was reminded of the song “What a Friend we have in Jesus” were it says, “Oh what peace we often forfeit, oh what needless pain we bear.  All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer!”

So we went to church that sunday and the elders prayed and God answered!  The next day Faith was better…and with no medicine!  Its been a few weeks now and Faith is still doing really well!  She’s pretty much feeling as good as she did on the medicine now!  Jesus really is the Great Physician and He heals today!  So to celebrate God’s goodness, we took some more pictures up in the “studio.”  We went with the low key lighting this time with a black background.  I was pretty happy with how some of them turned out…still working and learning but definitely having fun in the process.  Click on any of the pictures to see the rest of them.
